OCRI and the Ottawa Software Cluster partnered with local high schools on a series of industry-led activities aimed at discovering why students are not choosing technology careers. The entire project was designed around social computing, the open source community and around the XO laptop. The core of the program was for students to create, with the help of industry experts, projects that will run on the XO.  Below are projects created for the XO by Ottawa students from All Saints Catholic High School, Earl of March Secondary School, Mother Teresa Catholic High School, Garneau Catholic High School and Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School.
