During this initial meeting, secondary high school students will be matched with elementary school students to introduce the program, participants, goals, and roles with discussion of themes, graphical user interface and characters

During this first visit to the secondary school classroom, the industry mentors will come to with the classroom to assist the students with the creation of the program for a web-enabled computer game accessible online for Grade 3 students.  Students will work in teams with their assigned mentor.  When not in the classroom the mentor will also be able to assist the students via email and online discussion forum  

  • ·     Students will share their project ideas and concepts with their mentors
  • ·     They must come up with a concept and a project plan ensuring the scope of the project can be delivered within the time frame
